Chargeback
Here at Chargeback Fraud, we're committed to helping you avoid chargeback fraud and ways to limit your exposure. Chargeback fraud is difficult to combat with even the most comprehensive plan. Fraud occurs when a cardholder issues a chargeback with the intention of extorting products or services from a merchant.
Respond as quickly as you can to a chargeback. Since there's a limited time period to resolve such a problem, a quick response will give enough time to the processing bank to get relevant information from you. Use clear corporate names, that describe what your company does or sells. Unrecognized names on the billing statements are among the most common causes of chargeback.
Note: One of the best weapons against fraudulent claims is thorough sales documentation including sales receipts, sales vouchers, signatures and proof of delivery (if applicable). Customers that issue fraudulent chargebacks have no substantial proof to support their dispute. By keeping complete sales records you greatly increase your chances of winning these potentially costly chargebacks.
